Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon

A simple, healthy way to enjoy a quick salmon meal, any night of the week with a delicious, tangy glaze.

2 salmon fillets with honey mustard glaze

Equipment

  • Sheet pan Covered with a baking mat or foil
  • Small dish
  • Basting brush
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 2 Small salmon fillets, or one large
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh thyme

Instructions

  • Move oven rack above center of oven, or about 6 inches from the heat. Turn the broil setting on.
  • Lay salmon fillets skin side down on baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  • In the small bowl, combine dijon mustard and honey. Mix well.
  • Using a basting brush, spread honey mustard all over the top of the fillets. Reserve the rest for later.
  • Broil for 10 minutes.
  • Brush additional honey mustard on top and return to oven.
  • Broil for an additional 5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
