Homemade Tartar Sauce

This popular dip for fish is so simple to make at home with only a few ingredients!

Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Mixing spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup Relish or diced pickles
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Combine mayonnaise, relish or pickles, mustard, and juice of 1/2 a lemon in a small bowl.
  • Stir well until combined.
  • Add a few dashes of salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately or chill for an hour or more if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
